BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- A New Jersey mother is facing charges after she allegedly left her 14-month-old son in a car while she gambled at a casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Bensalem police responded to the Parx parking lot in the 2900 block of Street Road around 9 p.m. on April 14 after security reported that a child appeared to be locked inside an unoccupied vehicle, according to officials.
An affidavit said the child, who was found sleeping in a rear car seat, appeared to be covered in sweat.
Police said the mother, 37-year-old Leola Dualuqua, of Willingboro, was allegedly inside the casino for more than two hours.
The child was rescued from the vehicle and medically cleared, officials said.
